    Hi people I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info on the btea, I've applied and sent off all forms and stuff and heard nothing back! A few people have said that when u get btea they give u a once off payment of €500 just wondering if there is any truth about this as I could really use it :) any info would be great :)

    You're probably thinking of the annual Cost of Education Allowance was which was reduced from €500 to €300 in the 2012 Budget, & was completely discontinued in 2013 Budget.
