    Hi. We've went sale agreed on 1st home & basically need to start from scratch with furniture & electrics & etc. Can anyone steers towards shops/online for good/bad deals. Thanks in advance...

    we got IGNIS fridge and freezer units.. they are made by Whirlpool with the same parts but just not as well known brand. they were maybe 2/3 the price of similar Whirlpool branded appliances
    have been running for an year now and not one problem with them

    spend big on your mattress and bargain hunt on bed frame.
    we bought our king size from The Furniture Liquidator in Sandyford, they were better priced than about 5 other shops we price checked in.

    get messy work done before you paint, we decorated then our heating went so floors and skirting and carpets had to come up

    There's also regular furniture auctions all over the country, can be particularly worth going to if it's a house or hotel sale..
