    Hi,

I have a 600l water butt at the side of the garage, and would like to put an on-demand pump on it.
The pump can be located inside the garage - I'll just route one of the water-butt outlets into the garage thru a wall to the pump and then out again to a hose.
I have a 240v supply in there too.

So - whats the cheapest option to use. I see Grunfos pumps (a hugh selection) but they are expensive.
what would suit my needs for plants/car-washing/etc, so similar to mains pressure but not necessary. What is mains pressure ?

    Thanks
    K

Lidl/aldi do a pump for 70 euro similar to the Grunfos. Don't get me wrong, they're probably miles apart in quality but if it's for occasional use it should do you

Is this the type of pump I need.
Does this automatically turn on when a tap is turned on ie a drop in pressure.
