    Hi
    Recently moved into a house with the horstmann control panel for heating and water, 2 zones for heating rads and one zone for water, might be a very silly question but when I use heat the rads is the water also heating or is the only way to heat the water by selecting the water zone .

    They are Independent zones under normal circumstances you need to select which zone you want to heat

    Hi I have exact same system in house iv just bought.

    But there is a problem in mine in that I can not turn on zone one or two on their own without having to switch on the water zone at same time. If I don't switch on water zone, then zone one or two won't work at all (boiler won't turn on)

    Anyone got any ideas of what's wrong ?
