HELP.... I recently bought a 2005 Audi A6 Diesel, literally 3 months ago and it has spent more time in the agrage than in my driveway!!!!!! Oil pump, shaft, turbo and intercooler all had to be fixed. This car had a full service history etc so all the boxes were ticked... I have just put it down to SERIOUSLY bad luck... Anyway I am trading it in and love the A6 so am contemplating a petrol.. I have always driven petrol 2.0ltr but deviated to the A6 Diesel TBH wish I had stayed with petrol...
SO i just want to know if anyone has had an A6 petrol (2007)and if so any problems????? I dont have the nerves for any more car problems.....

There's just no comparison between a E60 5 series and a C6 A6.. it's smaller, not as well laid out, and the "driving experience" is extremely overrated. It's more an A4 equivalent in my opinion - though yes I know that's not what the marketing would tell you, nor the BMW fans here.

Have a look here OP for a good UK A6 forum with a lot of Irish owners on it too and here for the Honest John take.
