OneDrive for Business Common Drive

Looking for some advice. We have an office with 5 users and are currently using Office 365 Exchange Online Plan 1. We want to set up a common drive so all users can access company files. Is this possible with OneDrive for Business? I’ve tried to set up a folder in the “Shared with Everyone” section in OneDrive but it is only visible on the account that it is created. Has anyone managed to set this up or what is the best way to do it?

I cant say for sure but you would think it must be possible considering there is a folder called "Shared with Everyone". Perhaps it has to be activated / the users added by the account admin.

Another option I know works is SharePoint. It ties-in with and uses the same sync client as OneDrive for Business.

I have it setup so OneDrive for Business is a replacement for "My Documents", i.e. for non-shared files and then use SharePoint for the shared stuff. With SharePoint the account admin can assign different levels of permissions to each sub-folder so you can customise who has access to what.

Have OneDrive for Business now working with SharePoint and it's doing exactly what I need it to do. It works very well. Thanks for your input.
