Hi, so im looking for an 2008-2014 diesel Audi A3. I have a budget of about 10k. So far I have found very little with low mileage within my budget. Then the other day I came across this car add on a northern site, it seems to good to be true. I emailed the guy and he said he got a new job so he has to sell it, he said hes in England and will come over if I am genuinely interested. I was thinking I could do a car check on it and bring a mechanic with me to look at it but the whole thing still seems a bit dodgy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is the cheapest 2010 A3 diesel on the site, the next cheapest is a crashed one. I think you know the answer to this already, you cannot buy a decent 4 year old A3 diesel S-Line for GB£5k If your searching adverts of the cheapest of any model then your bound to find the scammers and dodgy sellers. They are the cheapest for a reason. Think about it, why would someone go to the trouble of coming across from England in the hope that you might buy their car? If it's the bargain it appears to be then the seller would have no problem selling it on their door step.
