double sided stove options

    We are putting in a double sided stove between 2 seperate rooms (so breaking through at the back of our fireplace) and have done tons of research however im still so confused. It would be great to get a bit of advice on the following:

    One of the stoves we are looking at is a Chesney double sided 10kw stove. It is a wood burning stove only - will this mean we will be all day filling it?

    Are 10kw plus stoves very expensive to run?

    Does anyone have any recommendations of good double sided stoves

    Does anyone have an insert double sided stove and are they good?

    Hi,

    The fact that it's wood burning has nothing to do with the amount of fuel it uses.
    The amount of fuel depends n several factors-
    The stoves efficency and the quality of fuel are probably the 2 most important factors.
    If you go with a wood. Burning stove you have touse timber with less than 20 percent moisture which in reality means kiln dried timber.
