Curtain rails

    Got some deltex curtain rails from Guineys. Besides some rawlplugs and screws (and the poles obviously) this is all they've provided as fixtures. Am I stupid or is there something missing? I can't for the life of me figure out how this is supposed to be put up?

    It goes without saying that I'm hopeless at DIY but still - am I missing something really obvious?

    The bit on the right hand side should be fixed to the wall and then the other bit screwed to that bit.

    The part that should be fixed to the wall looks bent out of shape to me though.

    Yeah. That's what I figured first. But they're all like that so I'm flummoxed.

    Yeah. Just thought I'd check with folks what know better first. Seems unlikely that all would be faulty in the exact same way though doesn't it?
