College worries

I am currently in the middle of my 6 month work placement for college and have discovered I am pregnant. Absolutely delighted with the news and will be due my baby next March. My problem is whether or not I should continue with college.
I know everyone will say get your degree and what not.

My issue is I feel so stressed out because once January comes (returning to college) I need to take the semester off and come back January 2016 to finish. Realistically I don't think I will be able to afford to return to college and raise a baby. My degree won't be of much use now with a baby on the cards as the jobs aren't 9-5 type work (event management)

At this moment I can take a level 6 higher cert for the 2 years I have done so I'm not completely losing out on what I've done so far in college.

in the end you'll have to do what works for you.
the baby isn't going to wait at this stage but college will be there in the future.

    good luck

I fell pregnant in October of my final year. Granted, I wasn't due until July, so I was able to avoid having to take off to have my baby but I did find the course (science-based) very tough in the later stages. However, I finished it and have a degree now, even though I don't plan to work for a year while I raise her. I'm really glad I did too, because I didn't really realise just how much time I would give to a baby. Even now she has gone down to bed for the night (6 weeks old) and I'm staying up tired just to do something normal so I don't feel like I'm missing out. If I had to use this spare time to start preparing for going back to college, I think I'd go insane!
