SSD Recomendations./ hard drive questions

    Hey,

    following complete failure of my hard drive I'm getting an ssd drive,
    Not really sure which one to go for, was thinking the mx550 bye crucial seems to be pretty decent, I'm hoping to run the OS/ programs ( light room, bridge, premier pro and Photoshop on that.

    Set up a raid 1 500 gb hd for all productivity based work?

    Use an external hard drive but Id rather use that as a back up drive, thoughts opinions would be great.

    Then for my gaming side of my pc have a 1 tb 7200 rpm mechanical drive?

    To much any thoughts?

    I've heard the new Crucial MX100s are pretty good price/performance, I got a 256GB one on the way from Amazon.
    I plan to use it for OS and games (256gb is loads for me), and I have my NAS for storage.
