Just noticed one of my rear lights has gone. Is it an offence to drive with one working?

Yes. Not to mention fierce annoying. Nothing will usually be made of it with the majority of Gardaí, but get it changed asap.

It is a legal requirement that all lights and reflectors are working including your rear reg. plate lights.

Most petrol stations will have a replacement bulb if you cant get to motor factors.

I was in a crash yesyterday and the sudden jolt caused my front indicator bulb to blow so on way home from crash I got a replacement in petrol station and then today dipped beam lamp failed so replaced this straight away.

Also when bought the car 2 of the brake lights were out and that is one thing that really annoys me when others have faulty lights.

Only have the car a week and been hit twice one just mirror damage but latest a good bit of damage done.

Yes but its not often enforced .
Replace both tail lights when you are at it, as often the older one blows a few day afterwards
