Remove Page in Simple Comic

Hi. I'm reading comics on my Mac with Simple Comic. There's an option there to remove a page, but there's no way of saving the 'edited' file. Is this possible? I'm looking for an easy way of removing advertisements. Thanks.

.cbr files are just zip files. You can open the file with any archive program and remove the relevant and/or offending jpg file in there.

I've actually being doing that already, but I've a very large number of comics to get through and I was hoping for some sort of short cut. It doesn't seem possible though. Thanks.

ComicRack has a plugin that can be used to remove specific pages from multiple books at once.

You could probably script it, but that would involve using a list of the cbr/cbz files and the relevant pages to be removed for each file - and creating said list would be as much work as just doing it manually, especially since it's unlikely to be a job you repeat.
