Newbie Advice Needed.

    Hi all,

Been reading this forum for last few days. Didn't realise how complicated this vaping could be.

I'm looking to kick a 15-20 a day habit. I think vaping could be a good way forward.

What I need is clear advice on a suitable piece of kit for the job. I don't mind spending a reasonable amount for a good product as I see it as a means to an end.

From reading posts a clearomizer seems to be the best way to go?

What kit should i get? Links for purchase would be great. Also should i arm myself with how many batteries/coils/etc etc etc to get me through this?

    All replies welcome

Something like www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/kangtwist.htm is a great starter kit. On that site look under starter kits and you can see a few of them. It's 2 batteries, select a tank, charger, liquids.

Great piece of kit to start off with. The video below will show you how it all works and goes together.

The more experienced guys can help you more i am sure, as i am only vaping two months.

If i knew what i know now and i was just starting i would buy:

    MVP 2.0
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/mvp2.htm

Aspire Nautilus Mini & replacement BVC coils
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/mininautillus.htm
    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/bvc.htm

Quality juice - 18mg for your level of smoking (wingnuts stuff from e-smokeireland for example)

Use Coupon code Boards for 10% off :)

    thanks lads,

Should i be looking at few spare parts etc as i don't want to be STUCK someday? Also do you recommend the e-smoke website for quality/reliability?
Sorry but I want to get this right from the start. Looked at the Nautilis mini. It looks massive. Are these things pocket friendly?

Esmoke are very reliable, that I've found anyway. If you can get to palmerstown or ennis you can go into their shop and try before you buy. As far as I know Ovale are on gardiner street and there's one on Mary Street too. Don't know anymore myself, others would.

The mini is made from Pyrex so should be safe enough in your pocket but you could get one of these for portability and use the mini at home.

I am in no way connected to e-smokeireland. Next day delivery and their juices are great.

That's the exact kit I would have bought if I knew then what I know now. For portability try the Aspire ET-S BDC Glassomizer its not as good as the Nautilis's but its close.

There are loads of decent bricks and mortar shops go and try out some flavors for yourself.

Another commonly recommended starter kit is the Aspire Twist

I don't know where you are living but there is surely a Vaping shop local to you where you could go and try some different tasting juices , finding the right juice at the start is as important as the right gear . if you are not sure on the whereabouts of a shop just post here what town/city you live in/near and we will be able to tell you the closest shop to you .

E-Smoke Ireland and The Best Shop are both great shops I'd recommend. I would normally use E-Smoke but I bought my MVP 2.0 from TBS as they were out of stock.

I would echo the above comments. MVP 2.0 is better than the Twist/ Ego starter kits as the battery can last up to 4 days whereas the Twists/ Ego require charging way more often.

I would recommend Clearomisers. Not a fan of Cartomisers myself. Your MVP will come with a Clearomiser anyway but I would probably get another 2 maybe. I think the iClear 16s are very good and they are only €5 each. Get some replacement coils too. They are easy to swap out.

Aside from that all you need is eliquid. Again, I would echo the above, E-Smokes Wingnuts are nice. 18mg nicotine is the right level to start at.

Don't be afraid of running out of sh!t as these companies all have next day delivery in Ireland if you order before 3ish and you will probably have a shop near you also as these are proliferating like mad.

Good luck. It's surprisingly painless to switch from a 15 a day habit.

If you want to make your vaping experience great from day one and don't mind the initial investment

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/484-joyetech-evic-supreme.html

    + 1 or 2 of these

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/batteries/272-panasonic-3400mah-battery.html

and 1 or 2 of these along with some replacement coils ( make sure to get the BVR version )

    http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/clearomizers/416-aspire-nautilus.html

You can charge the MOD via usb but a wall charger is only a tenner or so

Sorry to the OP for jumping on this thread, but I'm also a newbie and having read the advice on here (and some online reviews), I've decided to go with the Nautilus mini.

My question relates to batteries - again, for someone new to this it can be a little overwhelming. What might be a decent battery to pair with the Nautilus mini? Do batteries themselves make much difference to the quality of the experience?

I read that the Nautilus mini is compatible with any 510 type battery - Aspire do this model:

    http://www.aspirecig.com/products/aspire-cf-battery-series/cf-battery-150.html

It doesn't seem to be available from Irish retailers however.

    Any advice?

Check the Flaunt your set up thread there's only 3 pictures so far and 2 are near identical but you'll get an idea of 2 good set ups.

The benefit of something like an MVP 2.0 (or even a ego) is you don't need to worry about batteries as they're in built.

I'm fairly new too and am enjoying a vision spinner 2 battery with a mini protank 3 with some suicide bunny's sucker punch" mixed with a little smug "hump" juice
