:mad:Just a heads up to anyone thinking of getting this electric oven, dont, its a complete pile of junk, very slow to cook the food,if you turn off the power at the switch you cant use the oven until you reset the clock again,if you want a cooker that works when you turn It on without consulting the owners manual then get a different brand, I had something cooking in it yesterday and it just turned itself off some time in the middle of the cooking process, just google for reviews(I should have) and save yourself the annoyance of being lumbered with a pile of junk, rant over cheers

Ah now they aren't that bad are they? your issue is with the setting of the timer which is the same fitted to most double ovens, get some service engineer to wire the oven stat up independent the of the timer and you will be grand

hi,i was wondering could that be done, glad to hear it can,Our previous cooker was a Tricity Bendix town and country model and if the glass on the oven door had not went twice it would be still in the kitchen, the leisure cooker takes an extra 20 minutes per hour to cook anything, that is if a recipe calls for 30 min at 180c we have to put the temperature at 200c-220c for about 40-50 minutes or more and keep checking it,the timer is no good anyway if the oven is so far off the heat settings, this piece of junk is only suitable for frying and boiling stuff on the hob,Im stuck with it now but will take it to the landfill asap, cheers
