HTC Desire HD vs Moto G

    HI there
    I'm looking for some opinions.
I've a HTC Desire HD for a good few years now and very happy with it. Brilliant phone.
However I now want to switch to something with 4G and while I'd love a HTC One - it is too expensive.
I'm switching to Meteor (Meteor and e-mobile my only options due to coverage where I live) and I would probably take out a 18 or 24 month contract to get a subsidised high end phone - but none of their contracts offer 15G of data which is necessary for me also.
So that leaves me with the choice of their SIM only contract with 15G and I quite like the lower monthly price also.

So I have to buy a phone out of contract (Can't afford the high end stuff) and have been looking at the glowing tales of the Moto G here.

How does the Moto G compare to my current Desire HD from a user perspective. Am I going to be taking a step back in terms of performance?

You should find the Moto G a bit faster as it has a better processor and more ram. It's also running the latest version of Android.
