It's a story about a flight that was going to one destination but ended up going to another destination due to unforeseen circumstances. This has great potential for a movie :pac:

If you don't think there's a story here then there are hundreds of other threads where you can take moaning.

Considering there is one breaking story involving a chartered plane going off course, the news of this second chartered plane being off its course has been added to the news cycle. Unlike the other story, the occupants of this plane were forced to land in a country where the US doesn't have the friendliest relations.

I hope they are offered a selection of biscuit and cake while they are delayed.

Biscuit and cake, not biscuit or cake, biscuit AND cake.

Is this other charter flight not just a light single occupancy plane near Florida? I love all this conspiracy theory and mass hysteria stuff. Relax. It's Friday night. No terrorists will do anything nasty on a Friday.

Sorry. We forgot the USA is the centre of the universe.

Do you have a life or do you just constantly scan the news looking for inconsequential crap to tell us? Who really gives a crap about the US?

Is a jaffa cake a biscuit or a cake? You find them in the biscuit aisle but they are called cakes!

    I'm very confused.

Ah, the non-asker-centric question which has been answered more than any other on the internet...

Oh please, like there aren't dozens of other threads about news in the US, eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia. I promise if this had involved a shooting here in the States, this sonuvabitch thread would be ninety pages by now. As much as people like to gripe and complain about the prevalence of American news on the site, they still keep clicking on the threads, now don't they? Yourself included.

At least the thread has proven to be amusing to other posters.
