I've changed jobs recently and will now be doing decent mileage using my own car. Currently driving a petrol guzzler so want to change to an economical diesel. I get paid better mileage for driving a 1.6 and above so looking for a economical 1.6 diesel. I have a budget of around €10k. What would you recommend.

If it's mostly motorway driving, go for something with a larger engine, most of those larger cars with the 1.6 engines aint all that frugal at 120km/h
