This was released a week or two back to not much fanfare, it got limited released in some cinemas for a week. Directing debut of Belle and Sebastian leader Stuart Murdoch based on the concept album he did a few years back called God Help The Girl with different female singers. It stars Emily Browning (who's getting very much cast typed as the wallflower), Hannah Murray (skins and Games of Thrones fame) and Olly Alexander.

It's very much a love it or hate it type of film, it's very twee and pretentious in parts (very much the criticism you could throw at Belle and Sebastian music) and so hipster it hurts (no one is overweight or ugly or dresses like they are in the modern days). But you have to have a cold heart not to like it, it's not perfect Hannah Murray character is underwritten and the script had a tendency to not giving you a resolution to characters or story lines. But Browning and Alexander have a nice chemistry, the songs are very good not Murdoch's best and although it probably it outstays it's welcome by a good 20 minutes. It's sweet but I can see many disliking it too.
