My dads 07 1.9 passat has a terrible vibration in the steering wheel
its like the wheels are about to fall of lol
anyway i thought it was bent / buckled alloys but no there fine

    is it a driveshaft problem?

    thanks

    Unlikely to be driveshaft.

Crap tyres. Unbalanced tyres. Bent/worn control arms, tie rods.

Swap rear wheels to front as a first step. I presume you had the wheels balanced and they told you there was no buckles?

had tyres off and wheels properly checked, swapped front to back etc
this is not your normal wobble, its very bad
would the cv joing be causing this?

Sounds like an inner cv joint problem Stephen.
