Went into one of their stores and felt a +20yr aging event occur instantly.
Lidl it is from now on for salmon, berries n' champers and change back from the 20 note.

Are you refering to the food there? Its expensive, and I think that Lidl and aldi are taking alot of custom form m&s food

    Another week another M+S sale.

The whole ambiance, its all a bit too stuffy n' sensible. Decent quality sure, but can't help thinking you're paying an extra subsidy which they forward directly to their latest ad agency's account.

Massively, massively over-staffed by any other stores standards - think that's where the premium price goes.

totally of topic, but is the champers in lidl nice?

tis, nice. Can recommend the wild salmon about x4 times cheaper than many other places. If only they stocked more Ferro Roche, would be even better.

    I'd doubt it.

Are you referring to the frozen stuff they sell as "wild salmon"?
A lot of times what they label and sell as "wild" salmon is not what you get in fish shops, it's a different (and inferior tasting) species of Salmon called chum salmon, which is the least commercially valuable salmon.

In contrast, M&S's wild Alaskan Salmon is far superior quality and not too expensive either. Highly recommend it.

Do you know what the quality is like with these shirts?

I normally go with TM Lewin so I'm wondering are they comparable.

I have both, TM Lewin is definitely better quality and heavier - but Sartorial is above average quality too.
If you can afford it, TM Lewin's multibuy is probably best price/performance.

Cheers, I'll stick with TM for now, still seems like a great deal though.
