possible infection

    Hi lads,

    I put on a brew last night and only realised afterwards that i had forgotten to sanatise the cup that i had the yeast in.
    How will I know i my batch is infected and if it is will it still be drinklable?

    You'll know if you have an infection by looking at the top of your beer in the fermenter.
    If there is webs of white or ringlets of white then its most likely infected.
    A rigours cleansing with bleach is necessary if thats the case.
    This happened to me recently so i know what its like!

    If it looks the same as normal you're probably fine.
