    Hi all,

finding it difficult to search for good web services/IT jobs around Dublin.

I don't think the usual sites cut it when I'm looking for something exact.

Agencies I find, throw anything at you just for their own sake.

Anybody have any better ways to search for the lesser known companies around dublin who are looking to hire?

    thanks

Integration of API's, SOAP, Web Services as well as Telecoms, Support (5 years exp), etc.

I know about them but a lot of the time i think companies don't post on them.

trying to seek out even a list of tech companies so i can go look on their sites individually.

Go to the IDA website and find a list of business parks in your area, then search for those business parks, they often have a list of the tenant companies on their website.

Still, I bet you could write a list of 30 or more companies you know in your area to start with.

I'd have thought those dev skills would be quite in demand. Is your LinkedIn profile up to date?

Two companies come to mind - Dun & Bradstreet and Workday.

It's also very good for being contacted by recruiters; especially in IT.

There's the jobs search page there of course, but if you don't see anything suitable, don't worry too much - just make sure that whatever you think a recruiter would search for to hire someone like you is listed in your profile. Use the profile summary to describe what you do, and then at the end, something like "Technology skill set: C#, SOAP, etc, etc" and just list them all.

Change your activity settings so your colleagues don't get a load of notifications in their feed that you're updating your profile - always a dead give-away that someone is looking to move on.

Also, search for IT recruiters in Dublin and connect with them.
