Helicopter Balbriggan

    What was going on last night in Balbriggan with the garda helicopter out? The noise of it woke the whole house, never heard one that loud before and that's after living in dub city centre for over 30yrs!

    Very rarely out our way but one would assume it was on a mission. saw it myself doing slow orbits over castlemill, chieftains way and the green towards millfield

    Oh god you just reminded me I had forgotten all about it! The noise woke me too and frightened the bejaysus out of me! :eek: Had a look out and there were flashing lights and everything, must have been out looking for someone??

    Can I ask what time that was at? I've heard a helicopter the last two nights up around that area so just assumed it was the RNLI one

    I think it was around 12:20am.
