I let my iPhone fall two days ago and when i picked it back up it simply would not charge.. the finger scanner still worked though, when I brought it to the Indian guy at his stall he had it over night and fixed it for me and said it was the battery pin that he had to replace it but after he replaced the finger print reader would not work at all so when i returned to him he was quickly on the defensive saying the phone was off when i brought it to him insinuating the finger reader would have already been broke when i gave it to him. He took the phone anyway an said he will try a new battery pin but i cant see it working

I'm just wondering is this my loss or is he obligated to totally fix the finger reader since it was working before my phone went dead??

You will find it hard to prove that he broke it and that it wasn't broken due to being dropped. It will be your word against his I am afraid.

You could go to the small claims court if you think that you have a case.
