Hi, I looking for advise on whether or not to install a double sided stove and the cost. Basically i have 2 rooms where the fire place is back to back for both. What I'd like to do is remove both and just have one single double sided stove. There are also 2 chimneys for both fireplaces at the moment so a double sided stove would eliminate one of those. I will be removing one wall to the right of the fireplaces so it would become more of an open plan room then.
Any guide prices as to how much this work would cost? no pluming involved as not getting a back boiler. Any advise appreciated.

You will have to remove one of the chimney breasts and flue.
The cost of removing one of the chimneys would be in the region of €2000 at a minimum
