Anyone put a DVR on your bicycle? I am going to get one, any recommendation on that?

Loads of threads about this before. Do a search,

But options range from 50€ China knockoffs (sj1000 or sj4000) to GoPro for a few hundred euro.

There are good deals to be got on go pros...(older models)
I got a hero 2 plus loads of mounts and spare batteries for little over 100€ recently.

I did a good bit of researching these at the time and i found that there is a "chinese model" that is pretty impressive for 99 sterling.
    Its called the tcl svc200
If today were yesterday i would have gone for that...I forget all the specs but i think its as good as the latest edition of the go pro if not better for a fraction of the cost.
    Marty.

I guess SJ4000 sounds a good idea, heard a lot about it.

I have an SJ4000, and I am very happy with it. I use it to record my commute. I have not needed it yet (touch wood) so I have set it on loop record. Battery life is good enough for what I use it for. I sometimes mount it on the bike, and sometimes on my helmet. I never get a reaction from pedestrians when I mount it on the handlebars, but if it is mounted on the helmet it ranges from a second look, to "what's that" to the fingers. I also got a car mount in the box with it, so it is also used as a dash cam.

That could be funny mounting on the helmet. That reminds me of a bluetooth headset Smart Sports DV Camcorder, and they say it's the World's First Wearable Smart DV. Sounds cool, but I haven't seen anyone got that
