Back To Education Allowance help

    Hey,
So I've been on Job seekers allowance since the beginning of February this year. I got 100 Euro for myself because I'm under 25 and also 100 for my boyfriend as he's a dependent adult, so 200 Euro per week. I'm starting a course next week so applied for the Back To Education Allowance and was thankfully granted it. I did my research and as far as I'm aware I am entitled to 160 Euro for myself and then the 100 for my boyfriend, however I only got 200 Euro. I even went in to them a couple of weeks ago and I was told I would get more than my previous 200 Euro a week.
Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the 260 Euro
    Thanks

I think they changed the rules in the budget last October that if you are on a decreased rate of JA then when you transfer to BTEA you no longer get an increase but instead stay on the same rate as your JA.

I went into them a few hours ago and I was told that I will be getting the increase, I just won't be getting it until I start my course which is the 15th of the month
