    Hi!
As a present for my boyfriend I want to set back up his PS2 and get some of the old games-Spyro, Rayman, Crash bandicoot, all the ones everyone had and loved.

However, I have the PS2 but no wires?
I know he would like to somehow connect it via X box? Or onto his TV? I have no idea about any of this or what I would have to buy or where I would have to buy it???

    Thanks!

Well firstly nobody liked those games on PS2. The PS1 games in those series are fondly remembered, the PS2 ones though are mostly awful. You should be able to get the wires and games you need from ebay or else if you are in Dublin head into Rage on Fade Street but be prepared to pay over the odds there.

I have a spare Playstation av cable you can have for nothing if you want.
The power cable is generic, same as found on lots of electronics, assuming its one of the original big ps2 consoles.
Games then, on the PS2 it'll be the likes of God of War, need for speed hot pursuit 2 and the likes of Jak & daxter or Ratchet & Clank.
The games you mention were best on the PS1 but they will also run on the PS2, so look for Crash 3 or Rage Racer as well as the Spyro and Rayman titles
