Hey have a family member starting in UCD next week and was wondering what is the quickest route to get from Heuston station to the Sutherland Law school? We were thinking of getting the 145 to Stillorgan road and then walking up to the school? is that much of a walk? Sorry for being a bother.

Not sure where the law school is but you have buses like the 25x and 66x stopping outside Heuston which will drop you on to the Belfield campus.

Yeah the 145 is the quickest way to get there apart from taxi. The bus will leave you off at the N11 beside the montrose hotel. Follow the crowd into UCD and take a left as you enter the college. It's only about a 5min walk :)

145 will take you to just across from the main gate from ucd. It's two min walk if anything. 145 is very regular and then have special 145 that are only going as far as ucd. This is how I traveled from heuston to ucd. I can't remember the name of the stop but u cud look it up or ask the bus driver which is ucd. A lot of people usually get off at that stop for ucd so you will know when it is. Bus drivers are usually helpful. The walk from the main gate to the law school is about 5 minitues.

Thanks a million, just checking them now to see which drops me closest, do they go often?

Thanks a million, so its only a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the law school? Thats sounds perfect, how long does the bus take from Heuston to the hotel do you mind me asking?

It really depends on the time of day. I'd budget 30-40 mins just to be on the safe side.

Depends what time your going and the traffic. I always aimed to give myself an hour and would defo be there in time. Some days it may only take 30 mins. Morning times are extremely busy and bus nearly stops at every stop so that's why I used to give myself an hour

The 25x,66x and 67x all go to Belfield. There's a lot of them in the morning so they could be handy for any 9 o'clock starts.

The bus stop is out the side of Heuston around the corner from the Luas stop.

Unfortunately I get off at O'Connell bridge so can't give advice on journey time to Belfield. Its something that will come with experience !!
