Malin to Mizen and back

I am planning a charity cycle for next year. The basic idea is to have two teams of two cyclists starting in Malin Head, cycle to Mizen Head and back again in 8 hour relays. We expect to take 2.5 days to complete. We plan to use a camper van for some shuteye/shower/food.

Wondering if anyone has done something like this and if so have they any advice about training or the actual cycle itself. Thanks.

Been drafted into the first leg of the mizen to malin on Saturday yesterday. Boss was meant to be going but as the office Fred I'm flying the flag for the company. Plan is to cycle bantry to mizen, then return back from mizen to kenmare. Would live to do a bit more but don't fancy a winter banished to the garden shed......

    It's an organised one - the http://crossrugbylegends.com/2014-is-only-a-year-away-pre-register-your-place-for-next-years-cycle/#

Would love to do the whole thing - it's over 6 days so a nice pace.
