Exporting to Norway

    Hi,

We are a small business and are looking to supply to another business in Norway. Do we charge VAT, our goods are VATable? Are there any other complications to selling to a business in Norway. They will be arranging collection from our premises in Ireland so I assume any import troubles if any will be up to the importer to sort out. Sorry if this does not belong here but can't seem to find much info on it anywhere.

    Thanks.

    Good morning,

please note Norway is outside the EU and therefore you should rate your export to Norway at zero percent.

If you export to businesses within the EU, provided they are registered for VAT in their respective country and you quote their VAT nr on your invoice, you can also zero rate those exports.

    Trust this clarifies

    Cheers,
