Hiya, I had the exact same issues for the first two weeks on it, all I did was sleep, puke and poo. :pac:

8 weeks on, no side effects, even with my dose being raised twice.

Just to add - this is in no way medical advice. If the side effects affect you too much, speak to your doctor. They can alter the dose, or change your meds.

Might be worth asking for this to be moved to the long term illness forum, as medical advice isn't allowed on boards

Posters are allowed to share their experiences of a particular drug, but as already mentioned by green_screen, medical advice is not allowed. So posters can feel free to share their experiences with the OP, but be very very careful of recommending the poster do something different or take something different to what their doctor has advised.

OP, if you are worried about any side effect or anything regarding this particular drug you can always phone your GP. Most GPs are happy to answer a follow-up query over the phone without you having to go into the surgery.

No, I didn't find that an issue at all, but of course the side effects can be different for everyone. I don't think it would do any harm to ring your doctor and just ask is that a common side effect.

I think this might have been the one I was on years ago, and I seem to remember similar heart-racing, upset tummy and fatigue. I also got night sweats. Do check with your doctor about any side effects you are concerned about, get plenty of sleep and good healthy food while you are settling into the meds.

But as your body becomes used to the medications, these side effects do fade. And its also a good remiinder to you not to come off the meds suddenly because similar symptoms plus mood changes happen, so if stopping the drugs, do so under your doctors supervision.

Stick with it. I was on them for 6 months, and then gradually came off the meds consulting with my GP while I was doing it. That was about 15 years ago now I think, and I've not needed meds since, and feel pretty good since. :)

Am on Lustral 100mg since earlier in the Summer - definitely has changed my poo habits! Also have very sore/tired legs. Am hoping that these will settle. Like others have said, these meds affect us all differently.

Not sure that it is doing much for the mood, but am going to stick with it for the winter anyway.
