    Hi.

I am wondering, as a substitute teacher covering a six month maternity leave in a primary school, am I obliged to do the Croke Park hours?

Im not concerned with making a good impression. My principal is very down to earth and has advised me to find out if I need to do the hours or not.
So I am wondering what my obligations are as a sub covering a maternity contract.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Not sure whether you are obliged or not but if I were you I would definitely do them. You are there as a teacher for 6 months so you should do them in that period. Making a good impression is important.

As far as I know you are expected to do them.
