Roof rack fixing points

Are these standard across all cars?

I have a 2007 Mazda 6 with the little removable inserts that cover the roof rack points.

My question is, are these a generic cross brand mounting that will fit any roof rack?

When I put my reg into Micks garage it says they have no roof rack to fit my car, This seems odd if they are all generic?

Some cars you can't get them for, particularly 3 doors and coupes.

Manufacturer's Fixing points are different for every car.
But you can get after-market racks/bars for most cars.
Try halfords or Ebay for your Mazda.

    Halfords should have something listed.
I'm pretty sure they changed the Mazda 6 around 2007 so you obviously need to know which model you have.
Also you don't say if you have saloon, hatch or estate. They would possibly be different for each.
If you find a set on Halfords then try Ebay.co.uk for the same thing at a better price (using Parcel Motel, probably have to pay a bit extra due to dimensions but may still work out cheaper than Halfords.ie).
