I'm struggling to conjure up evidence that I've being living at home for the past 3 years. Susi require that you send them utility bills or bank statements that I do not have.

Will they accept car insurance quotes to your address for the year? I have letters from the bank throughout the years but no actual statements.

I used P60/SW receipts as proof of residence as both had my address on them. For the SW I actually got a letter from them stating the time I initially signed on and that I was still on it. I got a similar letter from Revenue. Also is it not to proof of residence for three of the last five years?

Car insurance quotes wouldn't prove much - how about car insurance policy, or car logbook, NCT receipt, correspondence from the NLDS if you applied for or renewed your driver's license in the last 5 years? Electoral register?

DISCLAIMER: the above aren't listed on SUSI's website as being ordinarily accepted, but their list isn't exhaustive.

Did you sit the Leaving Cert in the last 5 years? If so, a copy of your results won't show the address but should serve as evidence you were ordinarily resident in Ireland in that year.

If you've taken any PLC short course since leaving school, contact the institute and ask for a letter confirming your attendance.

Payslips - even for temporary work?

Go into the bank and ask them for a statement covering the last 3 years. They may charge you a small fee for this. But once there is activity in the account during those years that will do for susi
