Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but I am wondering if anyone has any experience with a "reliable" aftermarket bearing set for Toyotas?

I have a 2004 Yaris that need to replace both back wheel bearings, and they are available from about £40 on ebay or £120 on micks garage. Just wondering if anyone has tried and tested out any brands here?

I only fit OEM wheel bearings after trying out aftermarket ones and being burnt.
I'll use aftermarket stuff in most applications but not wheel bearings.

When I bought blueprint wheel bearing with hub for lexus is250, it was the same brand inside of original part(kyoto I guess). Price was 210E vs 280E from dealer

Thanks for the advice last, looks like I will be biting the bullet so!
I dont think they are going to be too hard to replace, so hopefully I wont get too much of a hammering on labour for replacing them.

I better get used to beans on toast for a few weeks!
