On my existing 80cm dish I have astra 23, 19 and hotbird 13. would I get a single lnb for astra 28.2 on my existing triax bracket.

I already have a sky 60cm dish with a quad lnb for astra 28.2. just need an extra input.
    Tks

Where is the dish actually aligned?

Is there space to move the LNB for 23 east further towards the end of the beam? You could try doing that & see if you get anything from 28. Just mark where the LNB was to begin with.

kooga, the answer is yes, there was a big posting on here about multi lnb ie 13, 19, 26 and 28 and it was working a treat. From memory you turn the triax bracket upside down and this way you can get the elevation for 28east. Then the bracket has to be re-sited on the lnb arm ie drill new holes.

here is the link with photos, this was for 26east and 23 east is much easier to get

You don't even know where the OP's dish is aligned so, how can you say the beam has to be re-sited? If the dish is aligned around 19 east, there should still be enough of the beam on the 'east' side, with the central mounting.

Also OP, Triax don't do an actual 80cm: is yours a 78 or an 88? There's no problem getting the spread of satellites you're after, but signal would be better with the bigger dish.

Pic. in post #22 of the thread linked in the previous post, is the one to look at. Bear in mind the pic is of a bigger dish (110 cm), so your LNBs will be closer together.

Is that the dish pictured in 'Whats your setup'? The beam appears to be 'upside down' in those photos. It's just to get more tilt on the beam, since all the wanted satellites are on one 'side' of the arc. An alternative would be to skew the whole dish.
