Somebody hit my passenger mirror and cracked the glass. So I need to replace it before the nct next week. Ordered glass with back plate from micks garage. But wheni removed the old one the back on the new one is completely different - its a round clip on part. The other was a rectangular one.

Ive sesrched online and cant see sny images or videos of how this works. Any suggestions? ?

Can you not just stick the new glass over the old one?

yeah if you know any glazer shops or window shops nearby where you would go if you broke a house window , they would cut a bit of mirror for you and stick it for you in 5 mins that's what I'd do if I was tight for time with nct or some motor factors could do the same for you
