    If you can try give both of them a go before you purchase, I did and I ended up buying the Z2.
    Imo the screen on the Samsung isn't better, the Z2's is much nicer to live with.
    I've had zero issues with it.

    None, I've had use of two Z2's and there was no problems at all, if there was I wouldn't have bought one for myself.

    One other thing I think is pretty handy with an android tablet is a software button instead of a hardware one like on the Samsung. It's much nicer to have them move with you from portrait to landscape.
