Paying Tax Full Time Student / Part Time Worker

    Hi gang

    Quick question;

    I have been in college studying for the last 4 years full time - I work part time at weekends and sometimes full time during holidays e.g. Christmas and Summer. I was due to earn in the region on €2,350 this month but only received €1,850 - seems a lot to be taxed for a single male under 30.

    Can I claim tax credits for being a student?
    Can I claim any tax back over past 4 years?

    I don't think revenue know I'm a student - how do I inform them?

    Hope someone can help. Cheers in advance (",)

    There are no extra tax credits from being a student. Once you go back part time and your pay is on a cumulative basis then you should get some tax back.
