    Guys,

We are moving office and have found a suitable place.
I just received a copy of the lease, on it there is monthly rent, service charge for the estate, rates and also an extra €33 per month. He explained this as insurance for the building and liability for visitors etc.
Is it normal for that the tenant pay this. I am not to familiar with commercial leases.

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

    Dinny

It differs regularly. Insurance should be arranged - either the landlord does this and gives you proof that he has doneso or he asks you to do it and give him a copy of the policy. If it is a multi-tenant building it would be usual for him to arrange it.
