Privet hedge

    I have a small patio I want to rope it off with a hedge , I have table chairs there I was going to put a privet hedge around it ..is that a good evergreen hedge...is it easily kept timmed , can you plant it now

    Yes it is easily trimmed. I planted mine bareroot in mid winter. Golden privet is slower growing then the green. Privet is more semi evergreen, now losing its leaves in harsh winters here.
