    Unsure if anyone would have a use for this, so throwing it out there for others. Might seem obvious to some, but I had a lot of trial and error to get the stations the way I wanted.

    I've a Samsung UE55ES7000 which has both a digital terrestrial and satellite tuner on board. If you select that its UK based you get a Freesat option, normal free-to-air stations but all nicely formatted and I believe updated. If you scan for the Irish terrestrial stations while in UK mode it kinda messes up the order of the Irish channels.
    A channel list which I've edited a little (using Samsung Channel List PC Editor V1.10) to put the Irish stations in order from Three Rock terrestrial broadcast and Astra 28.2E free-to-air stations semi sorted with what I think is junk removed. When you complete a Freesat tune before you apply this channel list you get the best of both Freesat and the Three Rock terrestrial broadcast worlds :)

    The how to which should make sense...maybe
    • Ensure your TVs software is up to date;
      'Menu->Support->Software Update->Online'
    • Extract the '.scm' file from the attached zip on to the root directory of a USB memory stick and insert it into a free port on the TV.
    • To keep the option for Freesat from the aerial selection, ensure;
      'Menu->Channel->Country' is are all set to UK.
    • If your doing this for the first time, change;
      'Menu->Channel->Aerial' to Freesat
    • 'Menu->Channel->Auto Tuning' and select Digital/Freesat. Use BT11AA for a Northern Ireland Freesat tune.
      Let it complete.
    • Now change
      'Menu->Channel->Aerial' to 'Air'
    • 'Menu->Channel->Transfer Channel List' (code is default 0000) and select 'Import from USB'. Select the file attached and continue.
    • When the TV turns back on, when you hit 'Ch List' and hit the Red/A button on your remote you can select through the different Aerial options 'Air/Satellite/Freesat' to get the most out of your nice dual tuner Samsung TV :D
    Note, use this file at your own risk, but its only a channel list. Obviously You need a Samsung TV with both a digital terrestrial and satellite tuner on board, I've a ES7000 model TV so it might or might not work with another model. Try it and see should you be bored. Samsung Channel List PC Editor V1.10 is easy to use so maybe even just start a fresh and post your edits here?

    Yes it puts them in the 800's but you can manually move them to numbers 1-10, takes about 5mins.
    I cannot see any advantage in using this...

    Very useful post for anybody thinking of getting a new TV. Can I ask if the fav. channel list is user friendly i.e. can it become the default at startup. Can you get full programme synopsis on both DTT & SAT Are the DTT and Sat channels all on the one list. Also can you include analogue channels on the fav. list e.g. to add CCTV. A screenshot of the fav. list would be great!!

    No single list, these TVs seem to be intended as 'either/or', satellite or terrestrial.

    And no harm to the OP but, poster #2 is right: I'd have the Saorview channels out of the 800s using the Samsung channel list menu, in the time it took to read the OP ...
