Anyone ever order online from mahersportsonline. According to website, they are based in Cork. How long did delivery take? Were you satisfied?

Much as I would usually push for local stores, racquets can normally bought a lot cheaper on the web. I live in Cork, and was in Mahers yesterday. Their biggest problem is that they don't put half their stock up on the website. They have lots on sale which you don't get to see. Sorry I can't help with the delivery side of things.

Just had a look at Mahers there. Absolutely laughable selection.

TennisWarehouse are still the best to buy from IMO.

Or this forum if you want the high end stuff:

Try sports direct, they have a good selection and i doubt you would get cheaper anywhere else

The real downside to online shopping is that you can't get to use the racquet and see if you like it. Although a guy I play with must have initially driven the shop mad by taking out about 5 racquets in 3 weeks, playing with them and then changing again.I then met him a week later with a completely different racquet. Bought it straight out from the shop, no testing it, nothing. The racquet? One of the new Babolat Play with the inbuilt sensor........€400 to you!!!!!! He plays really well with it, thankfully.

A lot of wisdom in what you say. Thanks. I have been lucky today to receive a perfect one just what I was looking for.
