    Hi,

I'm starting college in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to work out a budget.

I'm just wondering what's the general cost of living for a student living at home and if you have any budgeting tips?

I'm living at home but I'll be handing up 65 a week and will be commuting so I'll spend 100 a month on a leap card.

Really I just want to know how much I'd need for socialising and ill probably be eating on campus too throughout the day.

Should 70 a week be enough? I assume I'd be going out 1-3 times a week at least.

Also just to ask, do you spend much money during freshers week? I ask as I'm trying to put money by for that.

    Thanks.
