    Hey all, considering upgrading my RAM on my mid-2012 macbook pro 2.9Hz model. Anyone any recommendations for suppliers? Looking to upgrade to 16Gb. Tutorials on iFixit seem easy enough to follow.

    Yeah, many times. They once replaced a failed chip for me as well no questions asked.
