Hi all quick question I have a LG LH 3000 series TV I picked up a few years ago and fortunately it is able to tune in saorview and freeview as I live in Monaghan.

My question is should I be able to pick up freeview HD if the TV has the HD rte channels or is it a different requirement. I have rescanned recently but they did not show up.

Freeview HD is fairly new and i'd say your tv predates it. It has to have a DVB T2 tuner for freeview HD

Saorview HD and Freeview HD use different transmission standards. DVB-T2 tuner required for the FreeviewHD channels.

    Saorview SD & HD - DVB-T/MPEG-4
    Freeview HD - DVB-T2/MPEG-4
    Freeview SD - DVB-T/MPEG-2
