Streets of Monaghan 5k - 5th September

    The Monaghan Credit Union and Monaghan Phoenix AC present
    Streets of Monaghan 5k Road Race
    This Friday (Sept 5th) at 7pm
    It is a fast flat 2 lap race around the streets of Monaghan. Entry fee is €10 with prizes for all category winners, and refreshments served afterwards.

    Last years winner was Dara Green of Dunleer in 15:05.

    Entries from 5:30 in the St Louis Convent Gym in Monaghan Town.

    Also, 2.5k juvenile race. Prizes for 1st,2nd and 3rd in ages u.12, u.14 and u.16.
    Entry to Juvenile race is €3.

    All proceeds to Monaghan Phoenix Athletic Club Juveniles.

    Always a good run with this race on a fast course and I'd say a good few of our lads will be down. Will miss it myself due to a club match.

    Best of luck and no doubt it will go as well as in other years.
