Could you seriously expect this guy to be able to open a door and deploy slides in an emergency or lift someone out of their seat?

God, by the time I'm his age I hope I'll have spent at least the last 30 years with my feet up or swanning around on exotic holidays. I hope he gets at least a few more years to enjoy his retirement, if he can afford it. Always breaks my heart to see the older folk toiling away in service jobs in the US when they should be enjoying some R&R.

This , the Cold War style security and obesity were my main negatives about a trip to States several years ago .Presumably getting worse -and we're catching up fast !( in at least two categories)
